Recently, BGT Group Co., Ltd. received the bid-winning notice from East China Engineering Science and Technology Co., Ltd. for five sections of the 10,000-ton battery-grade lithium carbonate project for the green comprehensive development and utilization of Xizang Zabuye Salt Lake. The five sections include East China Company–Xizang Lithium Carbonate–Lithium Deposition-Sodium Carbonate Recovery Nanofiltration System, Section I Nanofiltration System, Nanofiltration Pretreatment System, Sodium Carbonate Recovery Nanofiltration System, and Multi-stage Nanofiltration System.

Located in Pajiang Township, Zhongba County, Shigatse City, the Xizang Zabuye Salt Lake green comprehensive development and utilization for 10,000-ton battery-grade lithium carbonate project has a production capacity of 9,600 tons of battery-grade lithium carbonate, 2,400 tons of industrial-grade lithium carbonate, and 156,000 tons of potassium chloride annually. It adopts an advanced brine lithium extraction process combining nanofiltration and evaporation crystallization.
