Recently, the Qingxu Hongbo coking wastewater zero discharge project undertaken by Beijet has entered a stable operation stage.
The Qingxu Hongbo Coking Wastewater Zero Discharge Project is located in the Shanxi Qingxu Fine Chemical Circular Industry Zone, led by Shanxi Meijin Huasheng Chemical New Materials Co., Ltd., Shanxi Yaxin New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and Shanxi Gangyang New Energy Co., Ltd. It is a benchmark project for coking wastewater zero discharge constructed by Beijie Te. At the beginning of the project design, we adhered to the mission of "carrying coking water to the end and making environmental protection a productive force", and implemented the strategic deployment of national environmental protection industry development and industrial layout. We designed and constructed the project according to the positioning of "high-end, intelligent, green, and integrated" and the operating standards of "first-class equipment, first-class environmental protection, and first-class energy consumption". The total processing capacity of the project design is 30000m ³/d, and the main processing technology is a combination of "pretreatment+biochemical treatment+deep treatment+reclaimed water treatment (membrane pretreatment+membrane treatment)+evaporation and salt extraction process.
The concentrated salt water from coking wastewater, which is partially reused through a reclaimed water device, has the characteristics of high salt content, complex water quality, high organic matter, high hardness, and high silicon content. After discharge, it will have a significant impact on the environment. Beijet utilizes its industry-leading high salt wastewater desalination technology and rich operation and maintenance experience to adopt a combination process of "high reuse of concentrated salt water+efficient purification of high concentration salt water+evaporation and crystallization of high salt water", truly achieving zero discharge of high salt wastewater. At present, the project has been operating stably, with a by-product salt purity of 99%, achieving the goal of industrial salt standard resource utilization, and has achieved full sales.
This project is the first in the industry to achieve zero emissions, making an important contribution to the energy conservation and consumption reduction of Qingxu Fine Chemical Recycling Industrial Park, and the transition from traditional coal coking to modern coal chemical industry. Since its completion, the project has received multiple visits and guidance from domestic coking industry experts, coking enterprises, etc., and has received unanimous praise from the industry.
In October 2021, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued the "Opinions on Fully, Accurately, and Comprehensively Implementing the New Development Concept and Doing a Good Job in Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality". As an important part of the coal industry chain, how to improve resource utilization and reduce environmental impact in the coking industry. Realizing carbon peak and carbon neutrality is a challenge that all enterprises in the industry must overcome. The successful implementation of this project marks that the coking industry has truly achieved zero discharge of coking wastewater, realized resource recycling and economic circular development, and explored a path of energy conservation, carbon reduction, and green development to achieve carbon peak and carbon neutrality.
