Since its establishment, BGT has been focusing on the water treatment field, with a focus on wastewater recycling and advanced water treatment. As a high-tech enterprise, BGT has built and strengthened itself through technology, attaching great importance to independent research and development as well as technological innovation.

In the process of striving to solve practical problems in industrial and municipal water treatment systems, BGT has continuously carried out technological research, development and upgrading. Aiming at the difficulties of industrial and municipal water treatment solutions in different industries and regions, it has independently developed a series of core technologies, such as zero-discharge and salt separation technology for high-salinity wastewater, high-efficiency reclaimed water reuse technology, reduction technology for high-salinity complex wastewater, standard discharge technology for phenol- and salt-containing wastewater, and high-efficiency upgrading technology. Among them, the representative project "China Coal Yuanxing Comprehensive Water Treatment Project" has been recognized by the Ministry of Science and Technology as reaching the international advanced level.

Up to now, BGT has obtained a total of 38 invention patents and 95 utility model patents. In addition, there are 38 invention patents, 2 utility model patent, and 2 PCT international patents under application.
