The equipment for the comprehensive sewage treatment and reuse project (evaporation crystallization unit) of Shanxi Synthetic Biology Industry Ecological Park, which Beijet participated in, has entered the installation stage.

The comprehensive sewage treatment and reuse project of Shanxi Synthetic Biology Industry Ecological Park is currently the largest industrial park sewage treatment project in China in terms of investment scale, highest treatment standards, and largest salt content. The total planned land area is about 800 acres, with a total investment of 2.138 billion yuan. It officially started construction in October 2020. The project fills the technological gap of "zero discharge" of large-scale high salt wastewater in China. After completion, it can achieve a daily sewage treatment capacity of about 144000 tons, and produce about 400 tons of sodium chloride, sodium sulfate, and miscellaneous salts through daily evaporation and crystallization.




Beijet undertook the process package design, equipment supply, and related services for the evaporation crystallization unit of the project in 2021, which is the key to achieving the goal of water and inorganic salt resource utilization and the technical difficulty of the project. Beijet's zero discharge salt separation technology for high salinity water is a combined process of membrane thermal method (multi effect evaporation crystallization) and cold method (freezing crystallization) based on the different ratios of sodium chloride and sodium sulfate in different sewage treatment plants. It separates sodium sulfate and sodium chloride as two by-products, and then reduces the impact of nitrate ions, organic matter, fluorine, silicon and other impurities on the quality of the separated salt by appropriately discharging the crystallization mother liquor, thereby obtaining salt separation and ensuring the quality of sodium sulfate and sodium chloride. Ultimately, it promotes the zero discharge, resource utilization, and harmless treatment of industrial wastewater in the entire park, achieving 'no leakage, turning waste into treasure'.
