In 2017, commissioned by Wuda District, the water treatment system of Wuda Industrial Park was upgraded with the idea of coordinated operation between the park and urban sewage treatment plants. Part of the domestic sewage in Wuda City was transported to the park through pipelines and mixed with heavily polluted wastewater. Through customized processes, the entire effluent reached the Class A discharge standard.

After the implementation of this project, it greatly improved the urban water environment, created a good production and living environment for the local people, and played an important role in controlling water pollution, protecting the water quality and ecological balance of the local watershed. After the upgrading and transformation, the effluent quality meets the first level standard A or the enterprise reuse water standard. A part of the reclaimed water is reused for production in the park enterprises, and another part is reused for dust reduction and coal washing in the mining area, successfully achieving the linkage treatment and recycling of municipal and industrial wastewater. This is a typical application project of the municipal and industrial linkage mode in Beijet.

Wuhai Beijet is also actively seeking downstream users to encourage more enterprises to join the ranks of sewage reuse, maximizing the comprehensive utilization of sewage and significantly increasing its added value. Under the mode of coordinated operation, urban sewage treatment no longer requires government subsidies, reducing the financial pressure on the government; Its stable operation solves environmental problems in sewage treatment, saves fresh water, benefits the local area, and helps promote the healthy development of the area.
