Recently, Beijet has reached a cooperation agreement with Tibet Ali Lago Resources Co., Ltd. on the modification project of the lithium mining and beneficiation project in Lago Co Salt Lake, Ali Gaize County, Tibet. Beijet will provide the membrane treatment system part of the project.



Tibet Ali Lago Co., Ltd. utilizes Lago Lake water to directly extract battery grade lithium hydroxide production equipment, adopting a process route of continuous adsorption, membrane method, and electrodialysis, with a designed capacity of 20000 tons/year of battery grade lithium hydroxide monohydrate.

On October 25th, the semi industrial trial start-up ceremony of the project was held by the beautiful Lago Co Salt Lake, marking the substantive research stage of the lithium extraction project process in the salt lake. The feasibility of the adsorption+membrane coupling lithium extraction technology process was verified, and the performance of major lithium extraction equipment such as electrodialysis and bipolar membrane electrodialysis, as well as the stability of the overall system, were verified. This will provide technical support and important basis for the subsequent development and decision-making of the project.

Laguocuo Salt Lake is a large-scale sodium sulfate subtype brine lake to be developed, with a mining area of 99 square kilometers and registered reserves of approximately 2.48 million tons (large) of lithium chloride, 3.82 million tons (large) of boron trioxide, and 7.44 million tons (medium) of potassium chloride. Among them, proven reserves of rubidium oxide resources are 14200 tons (large), cesium oxide resources are 15900 tons (large), and other resources such as sodium and magnesium.
