Recently, the Company was invited to participate in the 2023 China Industrial Water Treatment Conference. BGT's China Coal Yuanxing Large-scale Zero-discharge Salt Separation and Crystallization Comprehensive Water Treatment Project won the 2022 "Excellent Water Treatment Project Award" issued by the Industrial Water Treatment Professional Committee of the Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China.

The China Coal Yuanxing Comprehensive Water Treatment Project undertaken by BGT adopts high-salinity wastewater zero-discharge salt separation technology to carry out large-scale treatment of high-salinity coal chemical wastewater. Both phases of the project have been operating continuously and stably for many years. Featuring a number of patented innovations, this project has won the First Prize of Scientific and Technological Progress of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and has achieved "zero discharge" of wastewater from coal mines and coal chemical projects. At the same time, it has optimized the water resource utilization structure of the park, realizing the comprehensive recycling of underground water from Nalinhe 2# Mine while reducing production costs. At present, the byproduct of fractional salt from this project reaches 110,000 tons per year, with a miscellaneous salt rate of less than 5%. The sodium sulfate meets the Class I Grade A standard of GB/T600P-2014, and the sodium chloride meets the Grade I standard of GB/T5462-2015. The process adopted in the project was once evaluated at the expert appraisal meeting organized by the China Chemical Environmental Protection Association as "generally reaching the international advanced level, with some units reaching the international leading level".

BGT established the Wastewater Recycling Division in 2008. Having overcome technical difficulties such as high-concentration wastewater treatment, high-salinity water salt separation, and drinking water safety, it took the lead in China in realizing salt separation and zero discharge of mine water and coal chemical high-salinity water. This truly achieves the resource utilization of coal chemical and mine high-salinity water. In addition to the China Coal Yuanxing Project, relying on its leading technical advantages and rich operation & maintenance experience, BGT has also successfully undertaken the construction of many industry benchmark projects, such as the Wuhai District Park EPC Project, Wuhai Urban Area EPC Project, Zabuye Salt Lake Lithium Extraction Project, Dongyuan Scien-Tech and Dongjing Biology BDO Wastewater Recycling Project, and ExxonMobil Huizhou Ethylene Project's chemical water and condensate water project, which has established the Company's leading position in the industry.
