Since the commencement ceremony was held in June 2023, the investment project of Xizang Salt Lake Comprehensive Utilization R&D Base ushered in important progress again in August 2023, and project equipment has been delivered to the site in succession. It is expected that the civil construction and equipment installation will be completed by the end of September, and the commissioning and trial operation of lithium, potassium, rubidium, and cesium devices will be carried out by the end of October.

This project will effectively validate four process routes and ultimately achieve innovative use of high-performance lithium adsorbent technology coupled with membrane integration process, forming a high-efficiency, low-cost, continuous, and stable carbonate salt lake brine lithium extraction process. The implementation of the project aims to improve the comprehensive utilization efficiency of salt lake resources (including rare elements such as lithium, potassium, rubidium, cesium, etc.) while protecting the ecological environment, as well as the intelligent operation and maintenance application of salt lake lithium extraction.
