Wuhai Beijet is one of the key enterprises in Wuda District, Wuhai City, Inner Mongolia. In 2018, the company put into operation the first municipal linkage industrial wastewater recycling project in Wuda District, Wuhai City. The project successfully achieved the linkage treatment and recycling of municipal and industrial wastewater. The project is upgraded with the idea of coordinated operation between the park and urban sewage treatment plants. Part of the domestic sewage in Wuda urban area is transported to the park through pipelines and mixed with heavily polluted wastewater. Through customized processes, the entire effluent meets the Class A discharge standard.

After the upgrading and renovation, a portion of the reclaimed water is reused for the production of enterprises in the park, and another portion is reused for dust reduction and coal washing in the mining area. It provides 7.6 million tons of water for enterprises in the park every year, basically achieving comprehensive utilization and near zero discharge of wastewater. At the same time, the sewage linkage treatment of municipal and industrial parks has strengthened the infrastructure of industrial parks, greatly improved the urban water environment, created a good production and living environment for local people, and played an important role in controlling water pollution, protecting local watershed water quality and ecological balance.
