Good news from the Tibet Salt Lake Comprehensive Utilization Research and Development Base project. The project will complete the infrastructure construction, equipment installation, and full system process debugging of the lithium extraction route on December 17, 2023, and stably produce lithium carbonate!

This project effectively validates four process routes and ultimately achieves innovative use of high-performance membrane+adsorption+electrochemical+crystallization coupling processes, forming a high-efficiency, low-cost, continuous, and stable comprehensive utilization process for carbonated salt lake brine. The implementation of the project aims to improve the comprehensive utilization efficiency of salt lake resources (including rare elements such as lithium, potassium, rubidium, cesium, etc.) while protecting the ecological environment, as well as the intelligent operation and maintenance application of salt lake lithium extraction. The completion of the project will inject new impetus into the economic development of Xizang, improve the comprehensive utilization of salt lake resources, and promote the development of new energy industry.
