As we quietly bid farewell to 2023, a year filled with hard-work and achievements, and welcome 2024, a year brimming with hope and expectations, on behalf of BGT Group, I would like to extend my most sincere New Year greetings to all friends who have cared about BGT's growth, partners who have strongly supported BGT, investors who have followed and trusted BGT, all dedicated and striving colleagues of BGT, as well as the families of employees who have cared for and supported BGT's cause!

We have weathered trials and tribulations along the way, and reaped the fruits of our efforts over the past year.

2023 was a crucial year for BGT in building a new development pattern and pursuing high-quality development. A new "Five-Year Plan" has gradually unfolded, presenting a BGT that cherishes dreams, fears no hardships, and is brave in innovation.

Driven by the new strategic planning and the incentive mechanism for strivers, BGT has adhered to the beautiful vision of "harmonious coexistence among humanity, industry, and nature" and the corporate mission of "reusing every drop of wastewater to preserve nature's pristine ecology". We have continued to consolidate our leading position in the fields of industrial water treatment and industrial wastewater recycling, and actively invested in the field of comprehensive development of salt lake resources, achieving remarkable results. Facing severe market challenges and intensified industry competition, we have always adhered to innovation-driven development, actively expanded the market, strengthened internal management, and continuously improved our core competitiveness and comprehensive strength.

Bill Gates once said, "There is no doubt that this is an era full of challenges, but I remain optimistic about the future."

BGT has been deeply engaged in the field of industrial water treatment and high-salinity water resource recycling for 20 years. We have always adhered to the concept of serving industries with advanced technologies, continuously innovated traditional water treatment solutions, and strived to solve practical problems in industrial and municipal water treatment systems. In the process of forward-looking technological innovation, BGT's R&D level and technical accumulation have been continuously improved. Up to now, BGT has accumulated a total of 178 invention patents and utility model patents, making profound contributions to industrial development.

In 2023, in the fields of industrial water treatment and seawater desalination, BGT actively explored overseas business cooperation, successively undertaking projects invested by international oil and chemical giants such as ExxonMobil and BASF in China, and was awarded the title of "Global Premium Supplier" by ExxonMobil. We also cooperated with SUEZ, a world-renowned water company, to undertake the largest 100,000 tons/day large-scale seawater desalination project of Wanhua Chemical in China. BGT's positive actions, unremitting dedication to the success of the projects, and world-leading technology and service levels during the project execution have been highly recognized and praised by clients at home and abroad.

In 2023, significant progress was also made in the fields of salt lake lithium extraction and comprehensive utilization of salt lake resources. The Xizang Salt Lake Comprehensive Utilization R&D Base invested and built by BGT started construction on June 26, 2023, and stably produced lithium carbonate on December 17, 2023. We created a plateau miracle in 6 months. BGT's spirit of hard work, perseverance, and courage in the face of difficulties has inspired everyone who came to the plateau, earning rounds of applause.

BGT's first large-scale salt lake lithium extraction project in Xizang—the Xizang Zabuye Salt Lake Green Comprehensive Development and Utilization Project for 10,000-ton Battery-grade Lithium Carbonate—was also completed at the end of November 2023, with all 5 core process sections including the nanofiltration device undertaken by BGT entering the single-machine test run phase.

BGT has won the "Annual Leading Enterprise in Industrial & Park Water Treatment – Annual Pioneer in High-Salinity Wastewater Resource Utilization" and "Annual Enterprise with Outstanding Achievements in Ecological Environment Governance" in the water sector enterprise selection for two consecutive years, and has been selected as a "National Specialized, Fine, New, and Unique 'Little Giant' Enterprise", as well as many honors such as "Advanced Unit", "Excellent Contractor", and "Excellent Organization". Here, we would like to thank the recognition and support from all walks of life; all these honors are the driving force for BGT's progress.

Looking back on 2023, hardships have become the footnotes of our achievements, and obstacles have forged BGT's enduring strength.

As long as we hold firm beliefs in our hearts, we will reach our goals no matter how far they are.

In 2024, we will still march forward with firm steps and high morale, striving on the broad road of wastewater resource utilization.

In recent years, China has put forward the "dual-carbon" goals, vigorously developed clean energy, promoted energy conservation and emission reduction, and continuously explored and practiced in building a carbon market and strengthening environmental monitoring, achieving remarkable results. Both the environmental protection industry and the new energy industry are important components of the national economy and crucial forces driving green transformation and development. As a listed company in the fields of industrial water treatment, high-salinity water resource recycling, and salt lake lithium extraction and comprehensive utilization of salt lake resources, we BGT people deeply feel a sense of pride and a heavy responsibility on our shoulders.
