On January 8th, accompanied by the roar of machines, the pre concentrated salt field of the green comprehensive development and utilization of ten thousand tons of battery grade lithium carbonate project in Zhabuye Salt Lake, Tibet, which was contracted by Donghua Technology and provided by Beijet (stock code: 300774) with all membrane process sections, smoothly entered the water, marking the official start of the salt field trial production work and laying the foundation for subsequent production.

This project is the first modern large-scale industrial project in Xizang and the first project to realize the comprehensive development and utilization of salt lake resources. It is also the first large-scale salt lake lithium extraction project undertaken by BJT in Xizang (all membrane process sections). The project uses the "membrane separation+evaporation crystallization" process to efficiently recover lithium, potassium and other resources in Zabuye Salt Lake. The project officially started construction in June 2022. Through the struggle of all construction participants, efforts have been made to overcome many difficulties such as plateau reaction, material transportation, construction efficiency reduction, and procurement of living materials, and plans and plans in advance. At present, the pre concentrated salt field of the project has smoothly entered the trial production stage.

BJT put forward the comprehensive development and utilization mode of salt lakes when it entered the field of lithium extraction in salt lakes in 2021. Based on its own technical accumulation and project experience in zero discharge and salt separation of high salt water, and through innovative exploration, BJT not only effectively improved the output rate of lithium salts, but also comprehensively developed other valuable resources contained in salt lakes to effectively reduce production costs. The smooth operation of the project of green comprehensive development and utilization of ten thousand tons of battery grade lithium carbonate in Zabuye Salt Lake, Xizang, is not only a verification of the company's strength, but also an important experience for the company's subsequent projects, which provides an important support and strong foundation for the company's high-quality development in the field of new energy.

According to the data, the project is designed to produce 9600 tons of battery grade lithium carbonate, 2400 tons of industrial grade lithium carbonate, 156000 tons of by-product potassium chloride, and 200 tons of rubidium cesium mixed salt annually. After the project is put into operation, it is estimated that the battery grade lithium carbonate produced annually can be used by about 200000 to 300000 electric cars. If each car travels 20000 kilometers per year, compared with fuel vehicles, it can reduce about 2 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year. It will become a model project for the development of Xizang's salt lake resources, which has a high strategic significance for ensuring the supply safety of domestic lithium resources.
