Following the smooth water supply and trial operation of the first 10,000-ton lithium extraction project participated in by BGT, and the stable production of lithium carbonate at the Xizang Salt Lake Comprehensive Utilization R&D Base invested and built by BGT, BGT (stock code: 300774) has added another significant milestone to its strategic plan of creating the Company's second growth curve.

In January 2024, BGT and the Administrative Office of Hotan Prefecture held a grand signing ceremony, where a strategic cooperation agreement was signed on the investment and development of industries such as lithium-containing salt lakes/brine (underground brine in blank areas), mines, and downstream cathode materials in Hotan Prefecture.

Quan Qiuhong, Chairwoman of BGT, and Zhang Xuehe, Deputy Commissioner of the Administrative Office of Hotan Prefecture, signed the strategic cooperation framework agreement on behalf of both parties.

Hotan Prefecture, located at the junction of the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau and the Tarim Plate, is a region rich in solar energy resources in China. It boasts abundant mineral resources within its borders and is home to the most abundant and concentrated lithium resources in the country.
