Golden August brings abundant harvests!

In July 2024, the Chemical Water Treatment Project of the ExxonMobil Huizhou Ethylene Project undertaken by BGT achieved a successful first-time start-up of the equipment, with all produced water meeting the standards.

To this end, ExxonMobil (Huizhou) Chemical Co., Ltd. held a project appreciation ceremony in Huizhou, Guangdong, affirming BGT's work spirit of "client-centric, reputation-built through service" and presenting a certificate of honor to Mr. Liu Zhao, the Project Manager. Quan Siying, Secretary of the Board of Directors of BGT, Guo Yiguo, General Manager of the Business Division, Liu Zhao, Project Manager, and team members attended the event.

ExxonMobil stated at the meeting that it appreciated BGT for actively implementing ExxonMobil's EM safety culture during the project execution, proactively communicating, patiently accepting the multiple management of HCC/SEI/ISCT, earnestly implementing safety training and the contents of continuous safety meetings of various departments of ExxonMobil, and achieving the goal of "Nobody gets hurt"; all members of the project team worked closely with EM's maintenance, technology, and production departments, strived to overcome on-site limitations and external adverse factors, implemented BGT's overall arrangement of "people shift, machines never stop", optimized the difficult problems existing in previous projects, successfully completed all aspects of installation and commissioning, and finally achieved the goal of producing qualified desalted water from 4 series.

The ExxonMobil Huizhou Ethylene Project is one of the first seven landmark major foreign-funded projects in China, and also the first world-class chemical complex project with significant competitive advantages built by a US company as a wholly foreign-owned enterprise in China. All aspects of the project construction adopt international standards, select leading cooperation units in the industry, and strictly control quality and safety. The successful implementation of the Chemical Water and Condensate Treatment Project undertaken by BGT has laid a solid foundation for establishing long-term, trusting and sustainable cooperation between the two parties.

As ExxonMobil's newly appointed global strategic partner, BGT thanks ExxonMobil for its recognition of the Company. The consensus between the two parties on global environmental protection and green industrial development, as well as their shared commitment to fulfilling social responsibilities, have forged the cornerstone for high-quality project results and future cooperation.

At the same time, BGT is grateful to SEI for its rigorous and meticulous work style, strict design document review and management system, efficient communication mechanism, and standardized quality management in the ExxonMobil Huizhou Project, which have promoted BGT to further improve its technical level in design, quality, manufacturing, etc., and contributed to a better BGT.
