From 2004 to 2024, BGT has been deeply engaged in the field of industrial wastewater resource utilization for 20 years. Starting from a single membrane cleaning service, it has continuously accumulated technical strength and grown into a comprehensive listed group integrating wastewater resource utilization, comprehensive development of salt lake resources, and mineral development.

A single flower does not make spring, and a single tree does not form a forest. Through 20 years of trials and hardships, BGT's brilliant chapter is not only an ode interwoven with dreams and sweat, but also a magnificent movement co-created with partners. Looking back on this extraordinary journey, every leap forward and every achievement is deeply engraved with the mark of partners' support and trust.

At this important historical moment, Zhang Jintao, Chairman of Baowu Group Xizang Mineral Development Co., Ltd., attended the event in person to extend the most sincere congratulations to BGT.

The cooperation between Xizang Mineral and BGT began in 2021. In just three years of cooperation, the two sides have become partners who respect, trust, and support each other. Chairman Zhang Jintao reviewed the important journey of establishing cooperation between Xizang Mineral and BGT, and used two words to evaluate their partnership.

"First, dedication. Zabuye Salt Lake is located on the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau at an altitude of 4,400 meters, 1,100 kilometers away from Lhasa, with 900 kilometers of the distance in Shigatse. The journey also requires crossing 9 mountains with an altitude of over 4,500 meters. The area has thin air, high cold and oxygen deficiency, with an average annual temperature of 0 degrees Celsius. It is not only challenging to build a modern factory here, but even survival faces great difficulties. However, adhering to the concept of customer first, the BGT team has overcome unimaginable isolation and hardships. It has continuously sent elite personnel to provide high-quality services in project design, equipment supply, installation guidance, operation & maintenance and debugging, and has persisted in offering suggestions for the general contractor and the owner, making tremendous contributions to the Xizang Zabuye 10,000-ton battery-grade lithium carbonate project.

Chairwoman Qiuhong personally visited the project site, coordinated various issues in project construction and operation for many times, smoothed out various communication channels, and offered suggestions for the development of Xizang Mineral. In August 2020, a sudden COVID-19 outbreak occurred in Xizang. After completing quarantine, General Manager Jianfei drove to Zabuye County with his team and lived and ate with on-site employees. The dedication of the BGT team has been highly praised by our general contractor and owner unit.

Second, professionalism. Relying on 20 years of in-depth cultivation in the water resources industry, BGT Group continuously put forward optimized proposals during the project design and construction stages, saving nearly RMB 100 million for the project. In 2023, Xizang Mineral, BGT, and Wanhua Chemical joined forces, giving full play to their professional advantages in respective fields, and established the first joint laboratory for salt lake lithium extraction in the Xizang Autonomous Region, building original technical resources for salt lake lithium extraction. The pilot test base with an investment of nearly RMB 180 million has been completed and put into operation. It explores green, environmentally friendly, and comprehensive utilization of lithium extraction technology from salt lakes with highly efficient operations, contributing its own strength to the industrial development of the Xizang Autonomous Region."

Finally, Chairman Zhang Jintao stated that BGT is a respectable enterprise. The dedication and professionalism shown by BGT people in project cooperation have been deeply engraved on the snow-covered plateau at an altitude of over 4,000 meters, laying the foundation for future cooperation between the two sides. He also thanked BGT for its great contributions to the comprehensive development of Xizang's salt lakes.
