Recently, the zero emission unit of the first phase of the Jingyuan Coal Industry Group Liuhua Chemical Co., Ltd. Jingyuan Coal Electricity Clean and Efficient Gasification Gas Comprehensive Utilization (Relocation and Transformation) Project, undertaken by Beijet, successfully produced high-quality sodium chloride crystal salt, and the product water was fully recovered to achieve zero emissions!

The Jingyuan Coal and Electricity Clean and Efficient Gasification Gas Comprehensive Utilization (Relocation and Transformation) Project is a key project in Gansu Province and Baiyin City, with a total investment of 5.425 billion yuan. It will be implemented in two phases according to the principle of "capacity, phased implementation, and moderate advance". The raw coal and fuel coal for the project are mainly Jingyuan coal, and advanced, mature, and energy-saving technologies such as pulverized coal pressure gasification, isothermal transformation, and Claus sulfur recovery are used to produce products such as synthetic ammonia, methanol, urea, melamine, urea ammonium nitrate solution, etc; At the same time, it provides high-quality hydrogen, carbon monoxide and other raw materials for other chemical enterprises in Yindong Industrial Park, promoting the development of circular economy in the park. The designed production scale is an annual output of 2 × 300000 tons of synthetic ammonia, 2 × 350000 tons of urea, 100000 tons of methanol, 216 million m3 (H2+CO), 60000 tons of melamine, 50000 tons of urea ammonium nitrate solution, 50000 tons of liquid CO2, and 2500 tons of catalyst.

The zero emission unit device is designed with a pre-treatment inlet water volume of 120m3/h for concentrated salt water, and the discharge of concentrated salt water entering the crystallization device is ≤ 18m3/h. Based on the water quality characteristics of the project, heavy metals, chemical oxygen demand (COD) and other pollutants in industrial wastewater are deeply treated to recover salts such as sodium chloride and sodium sulfate for industrial production and other purposes, generating economic benefits while achieving 100% resource utilization of the entire plant's water system. The designed production capacity of sodium chloride is about 0.6t/h, which meets the quality requirements for first grade industrial dry salt in the "Coal Chemical By product Industrial Sodium Chloride" (T/CCT002-2019).
