On April 25th, the groundbreaking ceremony of the Kashgar North Water Supply Guarantee Capacity Enhancement Project and Sewage Treatment Plant Construction Project invested and constructed by Beijet Group was held grandly in Kashgar City.

In his speech, Muhetar Aishan, Deputy Mayor of Kashgar City, emphasized the livelihood attributes and strategic value of the Kashgar North Water Supply Guarantee Capacity Enhancement Project and the sewage treatment plant construction project, and stated that the Kashgar Municipal Government will fulfill its solemn commitment to the spirit of "no shortage of oxygen", fully support the project construction, and provide Kashgar citizens with safer and more reliable water supply guarantee.

Chen Gang, Deputy General Manager of China Construction Xinjiang Engineering Group, delivered a speech as a representative of the construction unit. He stated that China Construction Xinjiang Engineering Group will adhere to the EPC general contracting management mode and strictly control the quality and progress of the project. Leaders from relevant departments such as the Regional Water Resources Bureau and Kashgar Water Resources Bureau also took the stage to deliver speeches, promising to fully cooperate with the project construction and ensure that the project benefits the people as soon as possible.

Quan Qiuhong, Chairman of Beijie Te Group, first welcomed and thanked all the guests for their attendance. In her speech, she stated that Beijie Te will fully leverage its professional advantages in the field of water treatment, work together with excellent partners such as China Construction Xinjiang Engineering Group, and jointly build this project into a benchmark project in southern Xinjiang. She also promised that the company will strictly follow the contract requirements to ensure that the project is completed on time, with quality and quantity.

With the joint promotion of the launch scroll by Deputy Mayor Muhetar Aishan of Kashgar City, Chairman Quan Qiuhong of Beijet Group, and Deputy General Manager Chen Gang of China Construction Xinjiang Engineering Group, the "Kashgar City North Water Supply Guarantee Capacity Enhancement Project and Sewage Treatment Plant Construction Project" has officially started, marking the official groundbreaking of the project.

The total investment of the Kashgar City North Water Supply Guarantee Capacity Enhancement and Sewage Treatment Plant Construction Project is 1.326 billion yuan, covering the Kashgar Central Asia South Asia Industrial Park, Kashgar Economic Development Zone, and International Land Port Area. The construction period of the project is 22 months, and it is expected to be put into use by the end of 2026.

The project covers two major projects: water supply and sewage treatment. A new total water plant with a daily water supply of 79100 cubic meters will be built for the water supply project, with an annual maximum water supply of 24.4793 million cubic meters. At the same time, a 1.65 million cubic meter sedimentation tank will be constructed, and a 69 kilometer water transmission and distribution network will be laid; A new sewage treatment plant with a daily processing capacity of 50000 cubic meters will be built, and over 40% of the sewage will be purified through a combination process of "high-efficiency sedimentation tank+denitrification deep bed filter+sodium hypochlorite disinfection", and reused for industrial production and municipal greening in the park, achieving water resource recycling.

The Kashgar North Water Supply Guarantee Capacity Enhancement Project and Sewage Treatment Plant Construction Project, as the annual key livelihood projects in Kashgar City, will comprehensively enhance the water supply and drainage safety of Kashgar Economic Development Zone and Central Asia South Asia Industrial Park after completion, injecting strong impetus into regional economic development and ecological protection. Beijet will empower long-term operation with smart water management, inject new momentum into the sustainable utilization of water resources and industrial upgrading in Kashgar through water rights trading, dynamic pricing, and achieving win-win situations between government and enterprises, and play the "water charm chapter" of high-quality development of border cities in the new era!
