On the afternoon of July 17, BGT held a cooperation and exchange seminar with Sichuan Mineral Resources Exploration Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Mineral Exploration Group”) at the headquarters of Mineral Exploration Group. BGT's Chairman Quan Qiuhong led the senior management team in in-depth discussions with Hou Liping, Party Secretary and Chairman of Mineral Exploration Group, Zhang Qingsong, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager, and other members of the management team.

During the meeting, both parties leveraged their respective strengths to engage in in-depth discussions on mineral resource exploration and development, reaching important consensus on specific cooperation directions for the future.

As a key state-owned enterprise under the Sichuan Provincial Government, the Mining Exploration Group was established in September 2024 through the integration of the Sichuan Provincial Metallurgical Geological Exploration Institute, Huafeng Drilling, Jinnuo Geological Exploration, and Jinhai Minerals, with a registered capital of 800 million yuan. As the strategic mineral resource exploration entity of Sichuan Resources Group, it undertakes five core functions: mineral resource exploration, mining development design, resource comprehensive utilization research, risk exploration investment, and geological and mining technological innovation. It possesses comprehensive technical service capabilities spanning the entire industrial chain, from geological surveys, mineral exploration, mine design to resource comprehensive utilization.

In recent years, BGT has focused on industrial wastewater resource utilization as its core business, accelerating its expansion into the mineral resource development sector to establish a new core growth driver following industrial water treatment. As of July 2025, the company has secured exploration rights for the Toge Laqe Bulaq Lithium Mine in Ruoqiang County, Xinjiang (43.97 square kilometers), the Qiemo County Lead-Zinc Polymetallic Mine (35.91 square kilometers), the exploration rights for the Tomanan Copper Polymetallic Mine in Pishan County (73.01 square kilometers), the exploration rights for the iron and copper mines in the Laiqiao area of Pishan County (13.77 square kilometers), and the exploration rights for the Ganhuatan West Copper Mine in Yutian County (60 square kilometers), forming a strategic mineral resource matrix including lithium, copper, lead-zinc, and other key minerals.

This cooperative exchange seminar represents a strategic alignment based on each party's core strengths. The Mineral Exploration Group leverages its provincial state-owned enterprise background and full-chain geological exploration capabilities, while BGT Technology complements this with its technical expertise in industrial wastewater treatment and mining industry. This collaboration not only achieves the precise integration of “geological exploration capabilities” and “environmental technology advantages” but also takes green mining innovation as a starting point, laying a solid foundation for future in-depth cooperation in mineral resource development, joint technological research, and other areas.
